W. Eric Singleton,
Chief Executive Officer
Eric
Singleton is the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for steering the
corporate initiatives of Cipher.
Mr.
Singleton has extensive experience in Certification and Accreditation (C&A)
in both the defense and state levels. Mr. Singleton has successfully built and
managed a C&A Team that worked with the Department of Defense to achieve a
full Authority to Operate (ATO) for the PKI Enclave. Mr. Singleton has
also worked with the Department of Commerce (DOC) serving as Automated
Information System (AIS) Team Lead and Principle Engineer. During period, Mr.
Singleton lead the team that received one hundred
(100%) IATO/ATO on each AIS. Mr. Singleton has
performed audit and assessment efforts for the Chicago Public Schools; the Cook
County Treasure’s Office (
Mr.
Singleton received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a
concentration in software development and minor in business with concentration
in marketing from
Mark D. Wallace, Senior
Vice President of Business Development
Mark Wallace is the
Senior Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for steering
the growth of Cipher Communications, Inc.
Mr. Wallace is an executive with extensive
experience growing business units with small and large enterprises. Mr. Wallace
has held Executive positions with Verizon Business’ IT, Nextel and KPMG
Consulting. At Verizon, he created the channel strategy and Territory Plan for
its fledgling IT outsourcing business securing over $10 million in new
business. His diverse toolkit of business development skills was honed as
former executive of Nextel Communications and a senior strategy consultant with
KPMG’s Information, Communications and Entertainment (ICE) practice. At
Nextel, Mr. Wallace directed the domestic, Latin American and Japanese business
strategies in the voice and data services. Additionally, he wrote the
requirements for and led a cross-functional team that transitioned Nextel
On-Line’s mCommerce service line to the Product
Management department.
Prior to working with Nextel, Mr. Wallace spent three years as a Senior Consultant with KPMG. There he consulted Wireless, Wire-line Carriers and Emerging Technology companies. In 1998, as a result of the 1998 Telecommunications Act, he devised and managed the first successful maintenance evaluation of an RBOC seeking a long-distance tarriff. His findings led to over $50 million dollars in consulting revenue for KPMG.
Mr. Wallace has a
Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a concentration in Entrepreneurial
Management from the Wharton School of Business. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from
